Opening times

Monte Fontana Secca is open to the public with the following opening days:

From June 27th to September 10th, accessible only on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Changes to the calendar may occur, so please always check this page for updates.

You can visit a narrative space set up in the Casa del Malgaro, which hosts an immersive video story dedicated to the history of this mountain hut, from the Great War to the FAI.

Getting here

From Bassano del Grappa, take the SP 148 / former State Road 141, Strada Cadorna, towards Monte Grappa. Continue on the main road and just before Cima Grappa, take the right turn that leads to Semanzo Campo Croce. Continue on the SP 140 and after about 1.5 km, take the SP 141 until Forcella Bocca di Forca.

From Treviso, take the SR/SS 348 “Feltrina” west towards Montebelluna. Continue on the Feltrina, passing through Montebelluna, until you reach Pederobba; from there, take the SP 141 to Forcella Bocca di Forca.

From Setteville (BL), take the SP 10 and climb up to the "Da Miet" restaurant. Continue on the SP 141 upwards until Forcella Bocca di Forca.

Please note that there is no parking area and that it is not possible to reach the mountain hut with private vehicles.

There are no food services available on-site.

Accessibility

The Malga presents accessibility challenges for people with limited mobility or in wheelchairs.

Good to know

Appropriate clothing for mountain trails and hiking boots are recommended.

Dogs are always welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.

There are no food services or overnight accommodations available on-site.

During events and activities organized by us, we document the days through video footage and photographs, which are then shared on our institutional communication channels, both online and offline, and made available to the local and national press.
