Attività nella natura
Olimpiadi dei giochi dimenticati
CARAVINO, TORINO

The FAI Delegation of Monza is working with the property owners to open the magnificent Villa Borsani to the public during the Design Week, from 21 to 26 April.
Normally closed to the public, the villa is located in Varedo and was designed and built between 1943 and 1945 by Osvaldo Borsani as the family’s main residence.
The Villa offers a sophisticated synthesis of styles, with an unmistakable modern character. The interior design features the use of precious materials, in stark contrast to the austerity of the exterior. Inside, there are works signed by masters of contemporary art, and a special exhibition featuring historical materials from the Osvaldo Borsani Archives.
Visitors will be able to explore the Villa from an architectural, artistic, historical and cultural perspective, including its garden and works of art; they will also learn about the life of a great architect and designer, who founded Atelier ABV and Tecno alongside his twin brother Fulgenzio Borsani.
