Aula del Simonino

Aula del Simonino is open to the public during the following hours:

• Opening period: 14 February – 20 December 2026
• Open Thursday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Last admission: 5:00 pm.

Special openings for schools, by prior reservation, are available Tuesday to Friday.

Guided visits last approximately 45 minutes.

Visitors are kindly requested to arrive approximately 10 minutes before their scheduled visit to allow time for ticket verification and group organization.

Aula del Simonino is only accessible with defined time-based entrances and the visit consists of an audio story of about 20 minutes. Maximum occupancy: 20 people (in case of more participants, the group will be divided and a second round of audioguide will be scheduled)

By car

A22 motorway (“Autostrada del Brennero”), exit at Trento Sud toll gate, then follow the signs for the city center parking outside the ZTL (=limited traffic zone) area.

By train

Verona - Brennero Line, Trento Station (distance from Aula del Simonino: 900 metres)
Aula del Simonino can only be reached on foot, as it is located within a limited traffic zone (ZTL). The nearest public parking facilities are:
Piazza Fiera Car Park (550 m – approximately 6 minutes on foot)
Buonconsiglio Parking Garage (600 m – approximately 8 minutes on foot)
Sanseverino Car Park (1.1 km – approximately 15 minutes on foot; parking is limited to a maximum of 2 hours with a parking disc, Monday to Friday)

Visitors with disabilities, and where applicable one accompanying person, are admitted free of charge, in accordance with Ministerial Decree 507/97 as updated by Ministerial Decree 13/2019 and Law 104/92.

In the case of guided tours, events, or additional services, only the extra service fee is required.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs with certification for accompanying people with disabilities are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash at all times.

The Aula del Simonino is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users. Due to the limited size of the site, a maximum of 2 wheelchair users can be accommodated at the same time.

Access to the site is from Via del Simonino
- The visit route is on a single level
- The site does not have restroom facilities for visitors
- There are some internal level changes that can be overcome via steps (with the support of ramps)
- The visit takes place seated on benches and includes listening to an audio narrative via wireless headphones. Visitors with hearing aids or sound sensitivity are advised either to remove them during listening or to hold the headphones close without wearing them
- Lighting inside is dim, and part of the visit takes place in darkness and with doors closed.

It is possible to book a special visit with tactile insights (altar area).

Inside the building, to ensure the protection and conservation of the property, guide dogs and therapy dogs with a training certificate for assistance to persons with disabilities are allowed, always on a leash.
