Located inside the Valley of the Temples, Kolymbethra Garden is a shaded corner of paradise, where centuries-old olive trees prosper and where the citrus fruits flood the Valley of the Temples with their fragrances. An exceptional garden, where nature is merged with history. You can enjoy a walk on your own or opt for one of our wonderful experiences.

On Tuesdays it is open by reservation for groups and schools (minimum 20 people), with an extra-time ticket of €100 to be added to the entrance ticket.
During events the price may be subject to change and for FAI and National Trust members supplement on event charge will apply
The Kolymbethra Garden is located inside the Valley of the Temples. The nearest entrance is Porta Quinta. If you are by car, there is a wide toll parking.
By Bus
You can take the bus number 1 and 2 from the train station (Piazza Guglielmo Marconi) or number 3 (Via Vittorio Emanuele). The bus stop is “Templi Porta V” and it’s 400 mt from the Valley entrance. It takes 20/25 minutes.
Agrigento is well connected by train from Palermo and Caltanissetta or by bus from Catania and other cities.

The Valley of the Temples offer several opportunities of toll parking. The nearest is Porta V.
At Kolymbethra Garden you can see the original “product” of our famous marmalade. We produce marmalade of blood orange, blond and bitter, lemon, bergamots.
You can find local handicrafts, gifts for your children and the typical food products from our property in Sicily, Umbria and other regions in Italy.
Purchases from the bookshop make a tangible contribution to supporting the work of FAI.
The Kolymbethra Garden is the perfect place for a pic-nic.
We offer 60 seats with three slot times (at 12:15, 13:15 and 14:15). Take a rest from the Valley of Temple and enjoy your lunch with us. You can have your pocket-lunch or reserve it with us.
The paths are dirt tracks, but are accessible by strollers/pushchairs and, as such, partial visits are possible (taking in only the flat section of the garden). Such visits can only be carried out by prior booking (call +39 335 1229042) to organise access via the northern entrance of the garden. Those with disabilities must always be accompanied by their companion.
