Casa Bortoli is an unexpected Venice. A typical stately home in a historic building on the Grand Canal. It can be reached by boat (with direct entrance, on request with reservation) or on foot. The view is unique and exceptional: it overlooks the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute.
Casa Bortoli is open to FAI members on Thursday and Friday (except holidays) or for private visits.
On Thursday and Friday you can choose the following visit time slots: 10:00, 11:00, 15:00 and 16:00.
In case of “high water” in Venice
At a tide level above 105 cm, visits are suspended. We will advise you in advance.
The membership to FAI (The National Trust for Italy) is €39,00 for single and €60,00 for couples. It allows you free entrance in all our 30 special places. In Venice you can visit also Negozio Olivetti, in Milan Villa Necchi Campiglio and much more. Discover all, here.

The nearest ferry boat stop is San Marco-Vallaresso.
Disabled visitors can access free-of-charge those FAI properties that are open to the public by showing their ANMIC (Associazione Nazionale Mutilati e Invalidi Civili) card.
